| River Creek Junior Summer Series
Clinic - Junior clinics will be conducted every other week starting June 15th for two days each week. Clinics will cover basic techniques, strategy, rules, and etiquette. Cost of the clinic will be $100 for the summer or $30 for each 2 day session. Below is the schedule for the clinic.
FREE CLINIC!!!!- JUNE 8TH-9TH
June 15th and 16th - Overview of clinic, warm-up and stretching, chipping and putting basics, and course tour. Ages 6-9 will go from 8-9:30a.m., ages 10-13 9:30-11:00a.m., and ages14-18 will go from 11-12:30.
June 29th and 30th - Review of chipping, putting, and etiquette. Rules 1, faiway play, irons, and repairing divots. Ages 6-9 will go from 8-9:30a.m., ages 10-13 9:30-11:00a.m., and ages14-18 will go from 11-12:30.
FREE CLINIC!!! - JULY 6TH AND 7TH
July 13th and 14th - Review Rules 1, review iron play, review chipping and putting, Rules 2, and tee shots. Ages 6-9 will go from 8-9:30a.m., ages 10-13 9:30-11:00a.m., and ages14-18 will go from 11-12:30.
July 27th and 28th - Review all rules and lessons on day 1. Day 2 we will have a 3 hole scramble and hot dog lunch at 12:30. All play will begin at 11:00 A.M.
Texoma Junior Golf Association
The TJGA is one of the most succesful junior golf tournament series in the area as well as the state. Well over 100 participants compete at area courses every year trying to collect points to be crowned the summer champion in their respected age group. Founded in 2001 by PGA Professional Scott Anderson, the TJGA will now be headed into its second decade, striving to develop area youth into strong, competitive players. TJGA is headquartered at River Creek Golf Course and under the direction of Stephen Johnson. Robert Turner serves as the assistant director.
Break down of age groups:
Ages 6-7 6-Holes
Ages 8-9 9-Holes
Ages 10-12 9-Holes (2 divisions)
Ages 13-15 18-Holes (2 divisions)
Ages 16-18 18-Holes (2 divisions)
Players will compete for points each week awarded based on score.

1st - 1000 points
2nd - 800 points
3rd - 600 points
4th - 400 points
5th and below - 200 points
